Who is Eligible?
- You are married to or are in a de facto relationship with an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen. Sponsor must meet Character requirements.
- If 12 months of your de facto relationship is not complete, but you had your relationship registered with the relevant State/Territory then 12 months requirement is exempted, and you can lodge Subclass 820/801.
- Your affiliation with each other is real and ongoing.
- You are onshore in Australia (i.e. you have a valid visa).
